laparoscopic tubal reconalization-reversal of tubectomy

Recanalization is the medical term for “reopening.” During the procedure, which does not require any needles or incisions, we will place a speculum into the vagina and pass a small plastic tube (catheter) through the cervix into the uterus.

Laparoscopic Tubal Recanalization (Tuboplasty) can be done by joining the tubes back and the woman can still achieve pregnancy. But there are a small percentage of women developing ectopic pregnancy after tuboplasty which need to be kept in mind.
